The Oklahoma City Thunder road woes continue after dropping a 115-110 game at Portland. The Trailblazers were led by Damien Lillard’s 31 points including five three-pointers in the final three minutes, plus change.
The Thunder, now 9-7 on the road, were led by Kevin Durant’s 28 points but they could not contain Lillard, who had 17 points in the final stanza, including those three 3-pointers.
“They played well in the fourth and we didn’t,” Durant said. “All those made shots kind of broke our backs. They were coming off pick-and-rolls, shooting fall-away 3s, step-back 3s,” he said. “You’ve got to give them credit. That’s what they do.”
The Thunder continue their road trip with a stop in Minnesota to face the Timberwolves who have an aversion to the three point line this season…thankfully for Thunder fans and thankfully, the team will be back in the confines of the Chesapeake Arena for a game against the Western Conference foe Dallas Mavericks. Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so get yours today and be there tomorrow to cheer on your
