The Oklahoma City Thunder came back a 14 point third quarter deficit concluding in a thrilling 115-113 win over the Denver Nuggets.
“We knew they’d be tough. We’ve got to do a better job of being a defensive team,” Thunder Head Coach Scott Brooks said. “We have to play better defense. But in the fourth quarter we really locked in and played inspired basketball.”
The loss dropped the Nuggets to 4-6 with Kevin Durant dropping 38 points in the loss. Durant, though, conceded that his team has to come out of the gate with more urgency.
“We can’t start the game off giving them 39 points in the first quarter that just opens the flood gates for them,” Durant said after the game. “We have to be better. But we fought hard and made the plays down the stretch.”
The LA Clippers come calling on the 7-3 Thunder Thursday night. Great Seats and Tickets are still available.
